TYPE: Four-seat kitbuilt.

PROGRAMME: Prototype (C-GIPN) first flew at Bromont on 12 May 2001; experimental certification 7 June 2001; first flight from floats 3 October 2001; displayed at Sun 'n' Fun in April 2003 (when it had accumulated 120 hours) and at AirVenture, Oshkosh, July 2003, at which time a second aircraft was under construction.

COSTS: Kit US$25,945 (tailwheel) or US$28,150 (nosewheel) (2003), excluding engine, propeller and avionics.

DESIGN FEATURES: Intended to carry four adults and baggage from short and semi-prepared runways. Designed on 3-D software and constructed of precision-drilled aluminium components. Wings braced by V struts; downturned tips.

FLYING CONTROLS: Conventional and manual. Large, horn-balanced elevators with flight-adjustable trim tab to port. Horn-balanced rudder. Fowler flaps.

STRUCTURE: Aluminium throughout, except composites wing-, fin- and tailplane tips.

LANDING GEAR: Tailwheel type; fixed. Cantilever spring steel mainwheel legs. (Levered, rubber-in-tension type on prototype). Mainwheels 8.50x6 or 8.00-6; solid, steerable tailwheel. Optional float.

POWER PLANT: One 134 kW (180 hp) Textron Lycoming O-360-A flat-six, driving a Sensenich 76EM8-0-57 two-blade, metal propeller. Total fuel 204 litres (53.9 US gallons; 44.9 Imp gallons) in two wing tanks.

ACCOMMODATION: Four persons in two side-by-side pairs. Baggage spare to rear. Upward-hinged door each side.
