PROGRAMME: See Aeroprakt-20; designation indicates increased engine power provided by flat-four Rotax 912. Alternatively designated Aeroprakt-20M. Construction of prototype Sky Cruiser began February 1997; first flight 11 May 1997. Gained second place in 1st World Air Games, Turkey, September 1997; second place in 1998 World Microlight Cup, Hungary; and third place, 2nd World Air Games, Spain.

CURRENT VERSIONS: Vista Cruiser: Original version.
Vista Varlet: Announced 2003; for US LSA category. Wing span 8.53 m (28 ft 0 in); wing area 11.80 m2 (151.0 sq ft); weight empty 239 kg (528 lb); MTOW 453 kg (1,000 lb); cruising speed 109 kt (210 km/h; 125 mph); stalling speed, flaps down 34 kt (63 km/h; 39 mph); max rate of climb 427 m (1,400 ft)/min; T-O and landing run 92 m (300 ft); range 434 n miles (804 km; 500 miles).

CUSTOMERS: Total 11 aircraft ordered and built by mid-2002.

DESIGN FEATURES: Development of A-20 with increased power, shorter wing and tailplane spans, engine cowling, constant-speed propeller, fully balanced control surfaces, smaller wheels and more streamlined wing struts and landing gear, Sweepback 1o 30'.

POWER PLANT: One 73.5 kW (98.6 hp) Rotax 912 ULS flat-four driving a three-blade Ivoprop constant-speed propeller. Standard fuel capacity 90 litres (23.8 US gallons; 19.8 Imp gallons); optional capacity 128 litres (33.8 US gallons; 28.8 Imp gallons).
