NIIEM involves in the development, manufacture, launch and operation of the spacecrafts on the base of the unified space platforms USP90, USP150, USP1500 weighing a total of 90, 150, 1500 kg, respectively.
Small "EKO" natural and resources spacecraft shall be built on the USP90 base, small "VULKAN" spacecraft constellation for on-line short-term earthquake predictions, monitoring the natural and techno-catastrophes – on the base of USP 150, CORONAS-PHOTON S/C to study Sun and sun-earth interactions - on USP 1500 base.
NIIEM developed and mastered the production of the Meteor-2, Meteor-3 and Meteor-3M weather satellites. Some international projects with space agencies and companies of USA, Germany, France, etc. were implemented aboard the Meteor S/C.
NIIEM develops and manufactures the electrical machine-based power supplies, uninterruptible power supplies, converters and medical equipment.
